Jesse Jones, the 2019 Cahuilla Lodge Chief, is an Eagle Scout from Troop 1776. He is a Freshman at Ruben S. Ayala High School. Across his scouting career he has taken many leadership roles in both his troop, chapter, and lodge. After earning his Arrow of Light in Cub Scouting, he started out as a Patrol Leader and Den Chief serving his troop, before he took on the role of an Arrowman in the OA. Inspired by the ceremony teams in his lodge, he became a ceremonialist. Once he became brotherhood, he served as Lodge Secretary for a year and took a step back in his troop. He is currently fulfilling the role of Lodge Chief in Cahuilla Lodge #127

Christopher has had a long and active scouting career. He became an Eagle Scout in 1988 and has served in many scouting positions including: Scoutmaster, Assistant Scoutmaster, Advancement Chair and Den Leader. For the last six years he has served as the Unit Commissioner for Troop and Pack 371. While on Camp Staff at the Lake Arrowhead Bighorn camp, he earned the ‘infamous’ nickname “Tomahawk”. Christopher is a very enthusiastic supporter of Scouting and proactively promotes Catholic Scouting. Since 2012, he has been the Long Beach Area Council Catholic Committee Chair. He was elected to the OA in 1989 as a youth member of Siwinis Lodge. From 2012 through 2017 he has served as a Puvunga Associate Adviser and beginning in 2018 he became the Puvunga Lodge Advisor. He attained the Vigil Honor in 2017 and attended his first NOAC in 2018.

In addition to his scouting activities, he is very active in the community. For many years he has coached baseball, softball and basketball at local parks. He is the past president of the Charles R. Drew Head start program in Compton-Lynwood-Paramount. He is a member of the Knights of Columbus in Downey and has volunteered at the TNT fireworks stand in Lynwood for the last 20 years to help raise money for the Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.

Christopher served as a water treatment engineer in the US Marine Corps from 1989 to 1993. Semper Fi.

John-Aaron Bozanic is an Eagle Scout with 12 Palms from Troop 412 in Fountain Valley, California. He has served as Senior Patrol Leader of his troop, Senior Patrol Leader of his National Jamboree Troop in 2017, and President of Crew 774. He holds the Vigil honor in Order of the Arrow. He has served in multiple chapter positions, including Chapter Chief, and in Wiatava Lodge as Secretary, VC of Camp Promotions, VC of Activities, and Lodge Chief. He has achieved multiple awards is Scouting, including the George Raymond Scouting Spirit Award, the Bill Stewart Service Award, and the Western Region Area 4 Venturing Leadership Award. He enjoys backpacking and the outdoors, and as part of a three unit group he walked 270 miles, completing the John Muir Trail.

Robert is the current Lodge Adviser for the Wiatava Lodge. He previously served as an Associate Lodge Adviser for four years and a Chapter Adviser for two years. He is an Eagle Scout and was elected into the OA as a youth. Robert has received the Vigil honor, Founder’s Award, Silver Beaver, and District Award of Merit. He was course director for NYLT for 2 years, attended 3 NOACS, 3 National Jamborees and has been to Philmont twice. In his spare time, he enjoys hiking and downhill skiing.
